Julia is a session musician and can be heard on several albums produced by Charlottesville singer-songwriters Ben Eppard, Matthew McAllister, Jason Burke, Lester Seal, Michael Croan, and George Riser.
Laurel has been playing the cello since the young age of 3. She received her B.A. in music from Western Michigan University, and since acquired the first level of certification to teach using the Bornoff Approach. She has been surrounded with celtic and folk influences and has also gained a love for improvisation. She has performed with several chamber groups, small orchestra's, theater companies, bands and songwriters.
Laurel is a member of the Charlottesville's all female band Larkspur, and occasionally performs with local musician/singer-songwriter Matthew McAllister.
